Treasury

The Vibe: The community’s shared wallet or pot of money that a project or DAO controls.

The Details: A treasury is a big pile of tokens, stablecoins, or other assets held in wallets (usually multi-sig or governed by smart contracts) for a project’s long-term use. DAOs vote on how to spend it—paying developers, marketing, grants, buybacks, or yields. Strong treasuries (big, diversified, locked) show a project can survive bears and keep building. Weak ones (small, team-controlled, or spent fast) are red flags.

Pro Tip: Check the treasury address on a block explorer—see what’s in it, how it’s secured (multi-sig?), and recent spends. Good projects are transparent about treasury use in governance forums.
